How To Make Exercise Fun For Children
It is recommended that children aged two and above take an absolute minimum of 60 minutes of moderate exercise each day of the week, the optimum amount of exercise is 90 minutes. In an ideal world children should split this time up over the course of a day but this is not always possible. One good way of getting into the habit of exercising is to join in with after school extra curriculum sporting activities instead of leaving school and heading straight to the sofa to watch television. With some encouragement from parents exercising can quickly become part of a child’s daily routine.
